the tracks in this album were assembled between 2016 and 2018

they were selected from about 30 or so pieces i put together in that time as i taught myself how to compose on a laptop

i try to make music as a naive personal expression, no bullshit or pretension

i called the album anxiety because i am an anxious person, it was a particularly anxiety-inducing period in my life, and the sounds that i ended up creating felt like they were drawn directly from that experience
